Here is one way to look at it:
Each day 6573 people die of AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa. That is 274 people every minute. That's 2, 3 or 4 families that are orphaned every minute.
CHABHA selects promising community-based projects by visiting and talking with the leaders who saw many children in need and began to help.
CHABHA asks what support they need instead of telling.
CHABHA stays with the projects until the support is no longer needed. Along the way we are helping project leaders seek grants and other efforts to become financially independent.
CHABHA IN TWO YEARS In Africa CHABHA has visited many projects and selected now four on-going projects in Rwanda. For some of these projects, CHABHA is the major donor; for others, CHABHA helps out.
